Alison Barbosa has worked in several mechanical engineering roles in South America before moving to New Zealand. Alison gained his Mechanical Engineering qualification from Paulista University in Limeira, Brazil. He is motivated, efficient, and has great interpersonal skills.
I grew up involved with mechanics. My father was a welder at a multinational and my older brother was a maintenance mechanic at the same company. They used to do little mechanical projects on weekends where I always had the opportunity to watch and learn. A career in engineering area was inevitable.
I have more than 10 years of progressive experience in the Designing and Engineering field in many industries including aviation, machine, automotive and industrial engineering. My professional history includes positions such as Senior Mechanical Designer at Flyer Aviation Industry, Mechanical Engineer Trainee and Product Technician at Caterpillar Inc Brazil, and most recently Mechanical Engineer in a general engineering industry.
I’ve been involved in hydraulic, mechanical, and structural design projects and have extensive experience using 3D CAD software including AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and ProEngineer. I am motivated and focused to develop new projects and deliver them on time and on budget for our clients, while always ensuring the quality and efficiency of my work.

Design and development of a new model of aircraft with low weight, and great autonomy. Structural and aerodynamic studies and analyzes were carried out to obtain the final result.
Development routing of pipes with connection details in the bottling, solvent containers, and pneumatic pumps.
PAKMATIC DO BRASIL
Overlap Machine ZWA
Development of a complete production line, including palletizing robots, accumulation transport and overlap machine. This project was developed to pack soft drink bottles.
CARBON BLACK REACTOR CHANGING
This project consists of modifying the structure of a combustion system for Black Carbon. The entire structure was redesigned for the suitability of a new venturi cooler and new combustion chamber. In this project studies of strength, adequacy and reinforcement with bracing were elaborated.
