BE (Mech)

I enjoy solving problems, and I enjoy learning. It’s somehow more satisfying if a problem can teach me something.

Prior to joining Caliber I spent 8 years working on gas processing plants, including over 2 and a half years in Germany. As well as designing pressure vessels, pipework, stands, etc, and developing many a plant layout, I managed a myriad of plants from beginning through to successful commissioning. Before finding my way into that industry, I worked on various projects in transport, crane equipment, materials handling, and general heavy engineering.

I’ve found that the most important things in my career have been the ability to step back and look at the bigger picture, and to maintain good communication. Be it within a team, with customers, or even with suppliers, keeping everyone informed in a timely and respectful manner has brought many a project to a successful end, and made me many a friend.
