Jonathan Prince | Director, Caliber Design
Jonathan has worked for some of New Zealand’s leading design companies, including Tait Communications, Formway, Intercad, and inFact.
He has extensive experience in mechanical engineering, as well as sales, business development, and management. Jonathan is passionate about product commercialisation, the design process, and sustainable design and has a genuine desire to help businesses innovate.
Some career highlights for Jonathan include being a design authority for the Tait Communications flagship T3000 handheld product range; leading the final design and productionisation of the internationally successful Formway Life Chair; and co-inventing the Windry gumboot dryer which won two Best Design Awards for innovation and sustainability.
Ashley Brittenden | Analysis Manager, Caliber Design
Ashley is a highly qualified and experienced mechanical engineer who takes a pragmatic approach to both design and analysis work. He’s a strong believer that great work relies on great communication, and is well known for the positive and strong working relationships he forms with our clients and the team of engineers that he leads.
He has significant experience in the analysis of machine and structural components using FEA, CFD and AS/NZS codes. Ashley believes an analysis project is not complete without simple, practical recommendations for our clients.
Ashley has a wealth of experience in the design of food and beverage, powder and materials handling equipment and proficiency with a range of CAD systems. He’s carried out scoping and prototyping work for consumer products as well as concepting and 2D layouts for large factories.
Craig Purcell | Business Growth Manager, Waikato Innovation Park
Craig has a history of taking ideas and helping people turn them into activity, his experience with both small and large businesses has translated into a pragmatic approach to getting things done.
He joined LIC as the HR training manager and then moved into the business information arena becoming involved in market research, business analysis and many significant IT projects. He was then involved in a start-up business and managed all the areas from software development to sales. Craig’s last 7 years have been as a consultant providing business improvement activity with a focus on High Performance Work Systems and Strategy.
This experience and the collective resources of the Regional Business Partner programme ensure he will maximise the growth and innovation in his role at Waikato Innovation Park.
