Dyno is an inter-generational Kiwi company that has been designing and building conveyors for over two decades. Dyno conveyors make moving cartons, crates, and pallets more simple, safe, and effective.

THE CHALLENGE

Dyno were tasked with designing a new conveyor station within a short timeframe. The design was based on an existing standard conveyor but required modifications to meet the exact requirements of the project.

THE SOLUTION

  • Caliber provided an Inventor license and an engineer skilled in Inventor. He worked remotely to adapt the existing conveyer.
  • Design reviews were conducted via Zoom, to ensure all of the client’s requirements were captured in the design.
  • A completed model was provided, for further detailing by the inhouse design team.
  • Caliber completed the design of the salad pack conveyor station within the estimated budget.
  • By using project-based engineering resource from Caliber, Dyno were able to meet their deadline without the hassle and expense of employing a new staff member and buying an Inventor license.
  • The remote working arrangement was effective. Strong communication ensured accurate and timely results.
