By tapping into the collective experience, skills, and knowledge of fellow team members, we can craft designs that transcend individual perspectives.

How did you get into engineering?

From a young age, my fascination with engineering grew quickly as I dismantled mechanical components using my father’s screwdrivers on the kitchen table. This innate curiosity served as the spark for my journey into understanding the intricacies of how things are made, with a specific focus on the aviation sector. From making Meccano at age 8 to working as a scaffolder at 18. Making model aircraft at age 13 to repairing Airbus A320’s at age 23, I have always been an engineer of sorts.

Where / what did you study?

I studied at University of Canterbury and completed my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) in 2018.

What do you enjoy most about mechanical engineering?
