I am an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in the Aeronautical and Mechanical industries, accumulating over 10 years of professional expertise. I have acquired extensive knowledge in aeronautical engineering through active participation in numerous projects within The Boeing Company’s commercial airplanes division.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various industries, including agriculture, heavy industry, wastewater, conveyors, and industrial walkway platforms. This broad exposure has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the unique engineering challenges and effective solutions required in different fields.
Project Experience
Modelling & Manufacturing Drawings
Worked on modelling and creating manufacturing drawings for conveyor supports and platforms using Inventor/Vault, ensuring precision and timely delivery.
CST WASTEWATER SOLUTIONS
Design, Modelling & Drafting
Prepared site layouts in AutoCAD to ensure efficient spatial organisation and integration of equipment within project sites.
Developed detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor for various wastewater treatment equipment, including Screen Extractors, Horizontal Drum Screens, and Screw Compactors.
Delivered complete IFC (Issued for Construction) packages comprising accurate 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, DXF files, drawing registers, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication.
Executed modifications and optimisations to existing designs using Autodesk Inventor.
Next Generation Pen Prototype
The scope of the project was a new product design; involving 3D models and drawings elaboration for injection molded parts, rapid prototyping as well as parts manufacturing support.
Mechanical Structures
Designed and modelled mechanical structures in Autodesk Inventor, including platforms, ladders, handrails (AS 1657), access covers, and other projects. Prepared manufacturing drawings in Inventor and AutoCAD, managed design modifications, and supported project documentation. MAINSTREAM ENGINEERING (MEL)
Steel Parts & Assemblies
Seconded to Mainstream Engineering (MEL) for approximately 3 months to support them with client projects. Responsibilities included mechanical design and drafting of steel brackets, pedestals, stairs, handrails, supports, and platforms, working closely with the MEL team to ensure all parts and assemblies met their client’s exact requirements.

BALLANCE
The Whangarei Hub
The project scope was to build a new Whangarei regional bagging and distribution hub. It involved in creating thousands of manufacturing drawings for the new tripper conveyor line, walkways, and stairs. My role was to prepare 3D models and create manufacturing drawings in Solidworks. All drawings were sent to the manufacturer and Ballance Agri-Nutrients has started construction of its new hub.
Aircraft Cabin Design Qatar 777-9
Aircraft cabin interiors engineering drafting and 3D model preparation in compliance with international aviation standards and customer requirements.
MOSCOW BOEING DESIGN CENTER
Aircraft Systems Design (Boeing 747,777 and 787)
Developed water waste system layouts in line with airline interior requirements. Created 3D models, drawings, and specifications, and carried out engineering quality checks and approvals.
