How did you get into engineering?

I assembled my first Tamiya Mini 4WD when I was 3 years old and took my first modified Tamiya Mini 4WD to race at the age of 5. I believe that I have been starting to enjoy my “career” at that moment.

Mechanical Engineering at Auckland University of Technology

What engineering experience did you have before you came to Caliber?

I have been involved with the design, manufacture, and supply of such items as agricultural attachment, rail equipment, material handling equipment, trailer, construction project, and power station.

Is there a particular project that’s been a highlight of your career?

I designed the module of compact Hi rail equipment with a coil-over-spring system that is a flagship product displayed in the Manco Engineering hall (pictured above).

What does your dream project involve?

Any challenging projects.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

Outside of engineering, I spend time with my little one, and if possible, I would like to carry on developing my “smart” designs and build in the garage.
