How did you get into engineering?
Putting my ideas to the test through various projects in childhood was always one of my main sources of entertainment, followed by the disassembly of anything I could justify to my parents. During my teenage years when I had more tools at my disposal this developed into an interest in engineering that made my choice of career an easy one.

Finding good solutions to problems and the process of developing them from sketches to 3D models into working machines.
Where / what did you study?
After enrolling in Uni, I ended up taking a cadetship with Stafford Engineering that was offering to give me a wide range of engineering experience while I completed my diploma.

The variety of challenges, the spread of skills within the team and the level of support that this gives, and the culture!
Is there a particular project that’s been a highlight of your career?
Being quite new to caliber, I’m hoping that my current project with Rendertech will be a highlight. I’ve found the scale of the machinery involved to be quite impressive.
What does your dream project involve?
My dream project would involve a ground up approach that demands lots of creativity and problem solving to find a solution with the end result of bringing something new to the market.

I’m currently super passionate about canyoning which usually involves jumping and rappelling down slotted waterways in mountains. I also spend lots of time riding mountain bike and fixing my motorbike.
